When’s the Best Time to Pray? — part 2
On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through
the watches of the night.
— Psalm 63:6
When’s the best time to pray?
Yesterday we noticed that Psalm 5:3 and Mark 1:35 indicate mornings are good times to pray.
In addition to today’s up-top Scripture, Psalm 63:6, which mentions praying at night (actually, through…the night), the New Testament gives us examples like Matthew 14:23 —
Jesus climbed the mountain
so he could be by himself and pray.
He stayed there alone, late into the night.
Praying at night is biblical, too, same as we saw yesterday with praying in the morning.
See you back here tomorrow.
Starting and ending (and continually through the day).

Ditto to what nanette wrote. Joe, keep doing what you’re doing. You are making a divergence….trust me on that!

Ok, my spell checker didn’t like the way I was spelling difference and it put up “divergence” instead. I hate auto correct. I’m sure there’s a good story in all this!
