When’s the Best Time to Pray? — part 3

Jesus often withdrew

to lonely places

and prayed.

— Luke 5:16

When’s the best time to pray?

Over the last two days, we’ve seen here that morning and evening are times The Bible gives as examples of times to pray.

So when really is the best time to pray?

One of my favorite answers in Luke 5:16 — often.

And I love the non-specificity of that word often. If you get paid often, that’s good; if your knee hurts often, that’s not good. Often seems not to have a strict definition.

But often is a good time to pray.

So to answer our question, “When’s the best time to pray?” we now have three answers: morning, evening and often.

See you back here tomorrow.
