Whole-Hearted or Hole-Hearted?
Whatever you do,
work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord.
— Colossians 3:23
Leonard Sweet tweeted this last Saturday: “A life of holiness means a life lived 100%. To live holy is to live 100%.”
That resonates with one of my all time favorite Bible verses in which Christ says we can be “fully alive.” (John 10:10)
Our primary Scripture this week is Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.
What would happen if today all of Christ’s people would approach the tasks before us whole-heartedly? Too many of us in the church have apparently mis-heard something and are instead living hole-heartedly. Something’s missing.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.
What would happen if you and I did that today?
By the grace of God, let’s find out. Let’s “live 100%.”
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.
