Whatever You Do
Whatever you do,
work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord.
— Colossians 3:23
For you, it’s not about whatever I do.
And for me, it’s not about whatever you do.
Responsibility rests in the realm of first person singular. I’m responsible for whatever I do. You’re responsible for whatever you do.
Yes, our actions and reactions influence, intersect and impact one another. But you and I have choices about whatever it is we do.
With choice comes responsibility, whatever you do today.
By the grace of God may we choose wisely and act accordingly: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.
