Now You
“Don’t let who you were,” a mentor told me years ago, “talk you out of who you’re becoming.”
“I am about to do something new” God says in Isaiah 43:19. “See, I have already begun!”
“Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,” says St. Paul in Philippians 3:14. “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
Let’s let Christ Jesus have the last word: “No procrastination. No backward looks,” he says in Luke 9:62. “You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.”
