In Case You Missed It several weeks ago, here’s part of a prayer written by real life friend, colleague, and Presbyterian Scotty Smith

Jesus, I don’t know if I’m in my last decade, year, or day. But I do know I want to live more free, and more yours.
Fill the rest of my days with childlike-wonder of yourself; Spirit-generated gratitude, contentment, and kindness; and a tenacious commitment to live, love, and serve to your glory.
Thank you for the Gospel-loving, eternity-thinking friends you’ve given me to finish life with.
Keep making your empty tomb, occupied throne, and sure return more real to us than anything else. Everything else will take care of itself.
So very Amen I pray, in your magnificent and merciful name.
