Comfort the Afflicted and….
More than once I’ve been told that a pastor’s job includes “comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable.”
One is easier than the other.
Both are necessary.
Probably both are things that all Christians, not just pastors, should be doing.
So let’s hit Pause, and let’s go over today’s list of Things to Do again, shall we?

I think we tend to be over-zealous in afflicting the comfortable. We really don’t know what afflictions that we can’t see may beset someone we label “comfortable.”
