Please Do Me a Favor
Please do me a favor.
In Babak Najafi’s most recent action film, the helicopter carrying POTUS has been hit. On board is the U.S. Secret Service Director, now gasping out her dying words. She says to the primary Secret Service Agent guarding POTUS, “Do me a favor: stay alive.”
Someone needs you to do the same thing, whether they’ve said these six words to you or not: “Do me a favor: stay alive.”
Please do that today.
And what’s one thing you can do that will help you “stay alive” beyond today?
Perhaps even more importantly, what’s one thing you can stop doing that will help you “stay alive” beyond today?
From me to you personally, “Do me a favor: stay alive.”
Please.
Promise to keep working on it!! Now, question: Is this appropriate to say to my grandson the day after his wedding in July, the last time I will see him before they ship him to South Korea in August?
