2.4 Seconds, But Then
Bloomberg Business Week recently reported on the Faraday Future, “a concept car that can go from zero to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds.”
That’d leave me sitting at the starting line in my Ford Focus.
Bloomberg goes on to say of the electric car, “But it failed to park itself as planned during the demonstration.”
I’ve known people that, haven’t you? Very impressive off the starting line, but then…something just goes wrong. As Jim Rohn used to say, “This is not for you.”
The New Testament says, “Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself.” (Galatians 6:3-5, RDSV)
