He Says It’s Not Necessary

April 3, 2017

Mille Petrozza (yes, that the correct spelling) plays in a band named Kreator.

They’re a German thrash metal band whose latest album is Gods of Violence and has a track titled “Satan is Real.”

Of that song he says in a recent interview, “Some people think it’s a satanic lyric, but it’s actually talking about the fact that a lot of people still take religion seriously.

“It’s about religion, which I think is not necessary.

“I think we should evolve and move on and leave religion behind.”

What say ye?

When people ask me if I am religious, I say, “No, I’m faithful.” Maybe Petrozza has a point, after all Jesus didn’t say, “Come, start a religion.” He said, “Come, follow me.”

Thank you, Naomi; that’s what Jesus said.
