The Bible: Listen Up

Yesterday we stopped here, with what Marty Duren wrote—
[God’s] word is the foundation of faith for those with ears to hear.
Jesus concluded some significant teachings by saying those with ears to hear. let them hear.
It’s a good reminder that communication always takes two.
Wherever and however you and I gather for worship with others this weekend, let’s take a moment for self-inventory: “Those with ears to hear, let them hear.”
Are our ears ready to hear?
Are our hearts?
Our minds?.
