Grandmas and Grandsons
It’s with the gracious permission of Nathan Hoke, whom I first met when he was a kid at church camp and I was not a kid, that I share this with you from a couple of weeks ago —
At 36 yrs old it is still a little disappointing not to get a $5 in my birthday from my grandma anymore.
Then I help Conner open his card from my grandma and the $5 falls out.
I love my Grandma.
— Somebody say Amen.
Wait, did you hear that?
It was our old friend St. Paul, yup, the one who wrote 2nd Timothy 1:5.
He’s not only saying Amen, he’s cheering!
I remember Nate as well, only a year older than the twins. The analogy is hard for all of us!
