We’re the Same but Different

Yesterday I mentioned here that we’re all on the same team.

That is, our different Christian denominations are all various parts Body of Christ, to borrow the image St. Paul used in 1st Corinthians 12:12-27.

Back to my line that we’re all on the same team. Whoever isn’t against us is for us, Christ Jesus himself said in Mark 9:40.

Some churches emphasize something that others don’t. We all bring some significant piece to the mosiac that is Christ’s kingdom.

One Lord, one faith, one baptism, as Ephesians 4:4-6 says so succinctly.

Or, back to what I metioned yesteday: we’re all on the same team…and playing different positions.

For which I’m quite thankful, aren’t you?
