Yeah, but…but I can’t do this on my own.
You’re right. By yourself, you can’t. But you can “do all things through Christ who strengthens” you, even this. (Philippians 4:13)

Have you tried? Have you asked for help? Or have you only looked for an easier way? As Wesley said, There is no other way.

It surely rings true on every level. Simple yet profound daily discipline which is as essential as air, water and food. It is a great PRIVILEGE to read the written Word and to converse with the Word Incarnate.

Phillipians 4 brings me up short, on so many levels, every time!! Just about any but I have is answered in this one Chapter of the Bible! One of the few letters of Paul’s that I like.
