Restored & Recharged

October 2, 2012

He restores my soul.  — Psalm 23:3

Our cell phones need to be recharged, and so do we.

This Psalm reminds us where to go and how it happens.

Literally translated, “He causes my life to return.”

Today, let’s stop trying to run on empty.

So …what Jackson Brown should have said was, “running on empty, running dry, running into the Son….” Maybe he wouldn’t or i wouldn’t be running behind. Life returned, running into the Son, recharged, pressing forward, sounds promising . Thank you.

And: “Life returned, running into the Son, recharged, pressing forward, sounds promising . Thank you.” You’re welcome

So…..what Jackson Brown should have said was,”running on empty, running blind, running into the Son,” and maybe he nor i wouldn’t always be running behind. Just how crazy this life feels will probably never change, but knowing it can be revived, and ultimately resurrected will more than suffice.
    Thanks

Love that “ultimately resurrected,” even beyond being “revived,” oh yeah!
Thank you; and you too are welcome.

I spend hours sometimes searching for my charger. Not Him, I know where He is and I am not sure what I would have done the past few weeks without His constant presence. Since I am not finding my charger, my doctors are my next try. Should it be so day-to-day desperately relying on Him? I can remember a time when my prayers were on my lips and on their way without effort and while doing just about anything. I didn’t feel as though I was draining on Him, like I feel now. This isn’t brief. My cat knows when I need her emotionally and physically and she will be in my lap, on her own volition (she isn’t one you can just pick up) 24/7, if she sees it necessary. I just feel so dependent on Him right now. I want to go back to walking beside and not clinging as I have for over a year.

Now, if someone could just tell me where the charger for my bluetooth is before that law about not talking on the phone while driving kicks in!
