Revival thoughts

My wife and I went to Rupp Arena for a Toto/Journey concert and I couldn’t help thinking about the revival at Asbury and how different the two were.

As Journey was screaming, amplifying the volume to extreme levels and repeating the lyrics over and over just to say she was “lovin, touchin, squeezin another”, I was reminded of the ALL POWERFUL Spirit gently “lovin, touchin”, changing lives without having to scream, turn up the volume, or repeat phrases over and over.

Lord help me to not scream, amplify, or strain to change, but to submit to your all powerful, gentile, loving Spirit.
