Beyond Hunger and Banquets (Mt. 5)
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
— Matthew 5:6
Hunger here is to the extreme, as when literally starving.
Filled appears again Revelation 19:21 where it means satiated.
Implication?
As a friend says, in this regard the more you want the more you get.
So what’ll be?
And you want fries with that?
Righteousness. A heaping helping!
