Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.

That prayer?
You know that prayer?
The one He taught us?
That prayer He taught us, that prayer we say regularly, together, that starts with “Our Father?”
Every time we pray it, we ask God to “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”
We asked to be shown mercy…just as we have shown mercy.
