They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread — Acts 2:42
Does “the breaking of bread” refer to regular meals or to The Sacrament of Holy Communion?
My favorite answer to questions like that is an unequivocal “Yes.”
As in, “Yes, both.”
The more important question is how we’re measuring up to the standards set by the early church.
Are we “devoted” like they were or not?
Let’s be honest.
