JOE’S NOTEBOOK: This Bishop Speaks for Many of Us Here
I have friends with a broad spectrum of preferences, opinions, experiences and prescriptions for how the world might be improved. I appreciate you all. As the masked and unmasked begin to mingle, give each other some grace. Read scripture each day, keep an intercessory prayer list, support your pastor.
If you are a United Methodist, strengthen the connection. You will find your own well-being in this. And you will do for others in a way that others in the past did something for you.
Take life one day at a time. Find some joy, and take some precautions. Drink good coffee, get outside and be encouraged!
— United Methodist Bishop Ken Carter, earlier today
