Susan Mason is a friend I met through Patty.

This happened yesterday in Susan and Kurt’s home, and it’s with her expressed and gracious permission that I can share this with you here today —

Conversation early this morning with Erik:

Me, at hearing a radio update of the Senate’s Impeachment Trial: This isn’t going to end well.

Erik: When did you contact our senators? What did you say?

Me: I’ve just been busy and haven’t called them. Their offices aren’t open yet.

Erik: You could email them now before you get busy again. That’s what you’d tell us to do.

Me: Thank you; you’re right. I’ll do it next.

So, I may be running a few minutes late this morning, but I’ve done my part, thanks to my 12-year-old dishing out my own advice.
