Ever Been Accused of This? – part 5 of This Is A Day of New Beginnings

When’s the last time anybody accused you or me of this?

And when’s the last time our church was criticized for this?

Psalm 118:24 in The Passion Translation: “This is the very day of the Lord that brings gladness and joy, filling our hearts with glee.”

This morning I stumbled over the last part of that: “filling our hearts with glee.”

We’ve been accused of a lot of things, but probably seldom or never have we been blasted for having our hearts filled “with glee.”

Sounds like we’re missing something.

God wants us to realize that “This is the very day of the Lord that brings gladness and joy, filling our hearts with glee.”

May we be open to God “filling our hearts with glee” today!
