Money as an Expression of Something
“We give money as an expression of love,” he said. “But we can’t be charitable if we have nothing to give.”
He’s the same person who told us here yesterday about the relationship between money and compassion, and the importance of both.
He’s a former Benedictine monk who served as a U. S. Marine before that.
He’s now a partner at Longview Asset Management. He caught my attention in an interview in the July 2019 issue of Kiplinger’s. (You can find out more about him here — https://www.thespeakeragency.com/main/speaker/doug-lynam)
“Building wealth ethically isn’t about being selfish,” he said in that interview. “It’s discovering the joy of using money to make the world a better place without compromising your financial future.”
See you back here tomorrow, and let’s pick up right there.
