Money is More than Money

August 22, 2019

“Money without compassion is irresponsible and abusive,” he said. “And compassion without money is sentimental and feeble.”

I’m gonna hold up right there.

Today, let’s remember what he said.

Every time you reach for your credit card, or your debit card, remember what “money without compassion” is.

When you’re exchanging cash with someone one or writing a check, remember what “compassion without money” is.

“Money without compassion is irresponsible and abusive.”

“And compassion without money is sentimental and feeble.”

Who said those things?

See you back here tomorrow with more from that same person, who has a wild backstory.
