Lynn Bartlow is a colleague and real life friend who recently wrote this and graciously gave me permission to share it with you —

I love the UMC connection! Today a parent called from across the country asking for pastoral care for an adult child who was alone on vacation and had to be hospitalized. I got to know a wonderful person I never would have met, simply because I’m a UMC Pastor. One day, that might be me, calling some other random church to ask for my kid to be cared for. And I know it will happen!
