We all said it together in worship yesterday morning.
It came from China.
Everyone had a copy to take home as well.
I found it, like many of you have at some point, in our official United Methodist Hymnal.
All I’ve done is edit for simplicity.
It’s an honor to be a part time, retired, interim pastor of a delightful group of people.
It’s an even greater honor to invite you to join us in this prayer for the Unity of Christ’s Holy Church —
Help each of us, gracious God,
to live with such generous
grace and restraint
that Christ may never have cause
to say to any one of us,
“This is my body, broken by you.”
Amen.
