For What They Both Said
Long ago, and not too long ago.
I’m thankful for both, and for what they said.
Addressing the 2014 graduating class of what he called THE Catholic University of America, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers advised them —
“Don’t worry; be thankful.”
— Sounds kinda like our old friend St. Paul in 1st Thessalonians 5:18 —
In everything give thanks.
As you and I wrap up this Month of Habitually Giving Thanks, let’s find a way to continue to practice what they both said.
Let’s keep practicing gratitude.
