For Being Able to Wash My Hands
Today I’m thankful for being able to wash my hands.
Yup, continuing from where you and I were yesterday here: water and what to do with it.
Context —
“Only 19 percent of the world’s population wash their hands with soap after contact with feces. The United Methodist Committee on Relief [UMCOR] works to promote essential self and community hygiene practices, including hand washing and safe water storage, in order to keep disease at a distance and protect families so they can live healthier lives.”
— Let’s remember this when we wash and dry our hands today.
