For Our Military Veterans

November 11, 2018

On this Veterans’ Day, I know of no better place to begin to say Thank You than with this article found and shared by real life friend and fellow United Methodist Christian Angie Lappin, former parishioner now living in Texas. Here’s an excerpt —

“I was born just before the second World War started. During that time, America was fighting for its life. Since then, our nation has never really been afraid. It’s important our kids remember these things and that they provide for themselves and their families. If they can, they should give to those who cannot do those things for themselves. I lived in a world where I saw more evil than I could ever imagine and looked it in the eye. I think it’s important that kids know our history.”

Today I’m thankful for our military veterans.

Thank You are two words that just don’t say enough today.
