Psalm 118:24 is easier some days than others.
It reminds us that “This is the day the Lord has made.”
Then it commands us to “Rejoice and be glad in it.”
That’s easier the day of most weddings than on the day of most funerals.
But Psalm 118:24 doesn’t seem to give you and me conditions, nor does it allow exclusions.
It’s just: “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
