Failure

June 17, 2017

“Can you share a failure that you’ve learned from?”

Melissa Meinzer asked that of Philip Barnes, conductor of The Saint Louis Chamber Chorus.

Good question for you and me, too: “Can you share a failure that you’ve learned from?”

His answer was, “Too numerous to mention.” Gotta appreciate his honesty!

He went on, “The day we stop failing is the day we stop learning.”

Then I’m with Michelangelo when he famously said, “I am still learning.” I know I sure haven’t stopped failing.

How about you?

Dad said, (I’m sure someone else beat him to it), but he said when you stop falling off the horse and don’t get up and get back on, you stop learning from your mistatkes/failures.
