Countdown to Christmas — 12.22.16

Godspell begins with the sound of the ram’s horn trumpeting the introduction to the song, Prepare Ye the Way of The Lord. Isaiah 40:3 and Mark 1:3 were the sources for those lyrics.

Stephanie Paulsell brings that invitation from those long ago Scriptures and that 20th century musical into our hearts, our minds, and our lives today: “Advent calls us to prepare a way within us and in the world around us to receive the Christ-child.”
