Yes, sometimes I think we do want to be alone. I think that is part of what is wrong with people now days. They have no alone time to think, and to figure out who they are and whose they are. So much of our time is spent with some electronic thing blaring at us, even when we are alone. We need quiet, alone time, some contemplative time to rest our minds in Jesus.

Even when you are in a situation you can’t control and reach out and ASK, something I am NOT good at (but trying to get better), and no one answers the call. Alone is as lonely as lonely can be. It really makes you wonder!!!!

I did have a meal brought from the Lay Director, but she had to come in and get out as she is allergic to cats. Another came and helped me with some cleaning, that was a gift of time. And you know from my page about my high school friends. But the bulk of the six weeks of days were quite lonely. It reminds me as to why I don’t get in a hurry (I say at Wal-Mart, but I noticed it is anywhere). Time is a precious gift that doesn’t cost money; however, it is a gift some find too high a price. I just expected more from my church family. I guess as disabled, “out of sight, out of mind”!
On a lighter note, a smile came to my face when I opened my mail today. There was an Advent Devotional and the Christmas Card was signed by every one of the youth group! I get notes from them from time to time, but this was like, just when it was needed. Cards must be the new time.
