There’s an old song that’s about “Looking for love in all the wrong places.” No need to ask for a show of hands; we’ve all been there and done that in one way or another.
We’ve probably also spent time groping around looking for rest “in all the wrong places.”
By contrast, this Advent hymn points precisely to where we can find real rest: Let us find our rest in thee.
Where did Charles Wesley get the idea for these lyrics?
Probably from personal experience with the one who invites us, saying “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
It’s Advent. Christmas is coming.

What sins have you tangled up?
Finally, what do you need to stop being so overly-busy about, so that you can start to enjoy the rest of Christ?

The fears run deep and yet I can’t begin to know how to put a name on them. The sins I own or the ones being put upon me through others eyes/imaginations? I have to stop being so busy about worrying about the first two.
