It is with her expressed permission that I share it with you —
Praying the problem away will not solve anything.
But I’d like to propose that we pray for other things besides the victims and their families.
Let’s pray for common ground and common sense. Let’s pray for an end to hatred on all fronts.
I just listened to a beautiful performance by a children’s choir in NYC at the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. “Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.”
We are all accountable and it’s time we own up to it.
