Christ’s Business

July 22, 2015

I am making everything new.

— Christ Jesus, Revelation 21:5

We began this series several days ago thinking together about this: “What would you like to have made new today?”

Let’s conclude this series by asking what specifically about yourself do you know you need to have made new today?

Christ’s promise is still true today: I am making everything new.

Our Lord is still in the new-ness business.

    Un-mulled:

Mulling may be good, but like the horrible humidity outside, it makes things hazier and murkier! However, the weather man (current term is meteorologist) just showed a picture above what was a hazy/murky Alton riverfront that is now, almost, sparkling sunlight on a barge you couldn’t see an hour ago.

I can’t speak for anyone other than myself when I say that I “make everything new” each day by evaluating and self-modify what I see that might make a novice or Christ hopeful stumble in their own search and meaning. It is also the means by which I work with Him.
