Q: What is your favorite occupation?
A: Teachers.
As the son and son-in-law of teachers, and as someone who can name several who profoundly shaped me, and as the father of someone for whom teachers have been instrumental, Seth’s answer blew me away.

As I push for better conditions for this ones (friends and family) in this profession in this school district, I, too, would have to say teachers. I was able to substitute three years before my disability was made permanent. I have to say that I miss it. I was not a “babysitter”, I taught the teacher’s lesson plan for that day and was in demand, requested by teachers who had to miss. I saw how satisfying the profession is and why those in the profession weather the disadvantages placed upon then, particularly here. Yep, Teachers!!!!
