The fifth week of Lent starts today. We’re getting closer to Easter.
Many churches still light Advent Candles in preparation for Christmas. During that time in worship, a Scripture is read about how “the people walking in darkness have seen a great light.” (Isaiah 9:2)
Our Bible verse for Wednesdays in Lent 2015 says that not only have we seen a great light, but that the light is here.
Here. As in…well, as in here. Right where we are.
We can stop searching for the light.
Today, let’s see everything in the light that God has given us.
Already.
Now.
Here.
