“Let’s go to the house of God,”
my heart leaped for joy.

My “house” (physical) will be here Tuesday, no later than Wednesady (usually). I came here, Joe, to be in my quiet place within; unlike other days of the week, my only open page is yours. Even rereading as a part of the devotion.
On that note though, I have been loaned an exercise bike as of yesterday. I will be working even harder at the renewal of the strength in my ankles and right leg! I want off of this cane and be able to walk without falling forward or over (usually forward)!
I accept, I may not make it to walk in this season’s leaves, but hopefully I will get one of those nights when a good snow has stopped falling and the crunch of my boots will be the only audible sound. There is a peace to it, rivaled only by sitting alone in the trees looking out over Little Grassy Lake! The lake is where I first discovered and was able to recognize that “…Peace of God, which passeth all understanding…” (Philippians 4:7 KJV) as it occurred in many situations of my life forward. The lake was also where I was able to give a name to the experiences of walking in a land covered in new fallen snow!
Peace!
