A Selfish Jerk
We’re working our way through seven questions that could change your life, as Christian author Jon Acuff calls them.
Am I a selfish jerk? is one such question.
He walks us down the hall to the office where we sign up to help others, but he does it like this:
“What if you could take the thing you love doing
and then help someone in your apartment complex
to do that too?
“What if our definition of ‘help’
was a lot bigger?”
Maybe it’s as simple as looking around, paying attention and reaching out to make a difference.
And dial down the Selfish Jerk Volume until it gets drowned out.
