Russell Wilson, #2 — Why Not?

February 4, 2014

Russell Wilson, this year’s winning Super Bowl Quarterback, says his dad was always asking him when he was a kid, “Why not you?”

He’s 5 feet 11 inches tall, which has become short for a Quarterback in the NFL.

He didn’t let that stop him.

When he arrived as a Rookie on the Seattle team, he began asking them, “Why not us?”

What would happen today if you’d hear God asking you, “Why not you?”

And then if you’d ask your church, “Why not us?”

“Thy Will be done” 4 words. Not you; not me, only God. Perhaps the secret to living -Now- in eternity and here.

And why not through us, indeed!

Yes, indeed! The perfect question for any of us when God is calling us to do anything! In the face of all our self-limiting answers, “Why not me and why not us?”

Thanks, Don — for reading, commenting, and yeah that’s it exactly: why not me, why not us, and why not NOW?! Time for action.
