What Book Is That, Joe?
A couple of days ago on here I mentioned “a devotional book that as often challenges me as it comforts me.”
Several people have asked what book that is.
It’s Common Prayer: A Liturgy for Ordinary Radicals.
When I had that 3 hour lunch with Tony Campolo (now THERE’s a great story), he pointed me towards it as we talked about one of its 3 writers, Shane Claiborne.
Happy to recommend it to you, but be warned: it “as often challenges me as it comforts me.”
God uses lotsa stuff to do that, ya know?
