One More Draw
From a devotional book that as often challenges me as it comforts me, comes this line from a prayer…oddly enough, when I thought we were through with that song “Draw Us with Your Love” —
“Draw us to you in constant prayer,
that we might grow
in the intimacy
that makes your passion ours.
Amen.”
Prayer is difficult for me. I feel guilty that I don’t pray often enough or that I ask for to much without
offering enough praise for all the blessings I have in my life. It’s a journey.

It really IS a journey, you’re right, and I’m glad to be making that one with you these days, Robbie.

I’m currently reading “Confessions of a Prayer Slacker”. The author says: “Life with a personal prayer relationship with God is like watching TV on a sixty-inch flat-screen in high definition, with surround-sound speakers and a picture so clear you think you’re right there on the eighteenth hole in Augusta with Mickelson as he makes his final putt.” I’m not a golfer, but I get the message. I just keep reminding myself to ‘click on the remote’ to the awesome opportunity of prayer, and MAYBE I’ll do better with it!
