We praise you for all who labor for the common good
and for those whose service is unappreciated.

They’ve never been given an award at a banquet for it.
There’s no Hall of Fame for what all they do.
Most people don’t even notice them.
This prayer is a moment of gratitude from them.
Who are they? Who makes a difference but goes largely unnoticed and unthanked?
Today, let’s notice them.
Today, let’s find ways to tell them we appreciate them and what they do.
Meanwhile, know that I appreciate you taking time with me here today.
Let’s pray, and let’s take action.
