“Jesus rose from the grave to redeem all of life.”
Pretty good line. That’s why those conservative Presbyterians put that sentence on the outside of the flyer they mailed.
It’s printed in the middle of the page, surrounded by images of various work-related responsibilities.
Lifting that outer flap, the next one to appear reads simply, “Not just our Sundays.”
Boom.
Do we stir that into the coffee of our lives, or is that the container that keeps everything else together?

“Not just on Sundays,” is a good reminder that the resurrection can happen in my life, my relationships, my failures, and my whole life any day of the week. By the way this coming Sunday is the Eastern Orthodox Resurrection Sunday, and of course by no relation, it will also be Cinco de Mayo.
