“See yourselves as gifts to your community,” he said last Friday evening.
It was at a workshop on outreach and evangelism, but it wasn’t called that.
Mike Crawford was using United Methodist Bishop Robert Schnase’s great phrase, Radical Hospitality.
Try it. Try seeing yourself and your church “as gifts to your community.”
For some of us, that might take more than a little practice.
Try it. Your community is worth your effort.
And you really are a gift.
