Lester Wants More
Lester is a respected colleague in his 90’s, and it’s with his permission that I tell this.
We were about to finish up our conversation when the hospital food service person brought his dinner.
As she was leaving, she asked him, “Is there anything else I can get you, sir?”
He looked from her to me and back to her.
“More time.”
