“Mostly, We Need….”
Hurricane Sandy is only one of the most recent ones.
The media moves on to the next one, but the people impacted by the disastrous events cannot.
When Johanne of Haiti was asked what would be most helpful, this was the answer:
“Mostly, we need
food, water and shelter.”
I’ve been living with Johanne’s statement for several days now. Those words haunt me. My hope and prayer for you is that they have a similar impact on you.
We’ll pick up here tomorrow. Meanwhile, as you and I count our blessings, imagine Johanne looking over our shoulders: “Mostly, we need food, water and shelter.”
Could not the same be said about Isreal today? The same could be said about a person from Mexico trying to sneak into the states-“We need food, water and shelter.” I suddenly realized that God did not cause a lot of the sad things that happen. God created the chances for us to do something as He wants us to. Also kind of changes things to.

Love the way you’re thinking here, Steve. It’s the same for all of us.
