Be Joyful? Really?
“In everything, give thanks”
—1st Thessalonians 5:18
Thanks for all y’all’s comments and questions and conversations about this. (Interesting that like none happened on here, on this blog site, but messages on Facebook and in person were numerous.)
I’d like to put these 4 words, “In everything, give thanks,” into a bit of their context. This section really starts at least 2 paragraphs earlier, in verse 12 of that chapter. For now, let’s only back up to verse 16 and scoot slowly forward.
“Be joyful always”
—1st Thessalonians 5:16
Really? What would you do differently today if you were to do that?
What will you do right now to be joyful?
Always starts right now.
