Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes, Part 2 in a Series
“This change from glory to glory
is what the wisdom of the world
has voted to be madness, mere enthusiasm, utter distraction.
But you, woman or man of God,
pay no attention to that;
don’t be moved by any of these things.
You know in whom you have believed.”
—John Wesley, The Way to The Kingdom
I don’t pretend to have all the answers.
For years I’ve said that I’m still just working on getting the questions right.
Helpfully, Mr. Wesley points to 2nd Timothy 1:12, “I know Whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day.”
It’s okay.
Because we know the One we follow, we can go ahead and take that next step through the changes in our walk of faith.
By the grace of God, it’s okay.
Let the church say Amen!
Amen.
All that has appeared in these three posts are in league with all that I have been taught over the past XX years and believe.
